We offer two wool length options on most Sheepskin Flying Jackets. A long wool for customers who want a truly authentic extra warm jacket, ideal when flying an open cockpit airplane or driving an open top car for long distances. Or a short wool, for those customers who require a slightly lighter-weight jacket which offers more freedom of movement and allows one to wear the jacket in milder weather. Both wool lengths are available either with the original finish, mid-brown distressed outer skin or for a more contemporary look, a smooth black outer skin.
Cirrus Ladies Shearling Flying jackets can also be manufactured using our exclusive “Firefly” sheepskin. Which features a smooth mid-brown outer, combined with a wonderfully soft, creamy colour wool.
